Our comprehensive rehabilitation services have been a positive force in the lives of hundreds of our clients.
At Integrated Exercise Rehabilitation, we take the time to meet with you and carefully evaluate your condition and medical history. We customise your rehabilitation plan and provide you with the treatment options that best fit your lifestyle and your goals.
Exercise has been linked to the reduction and prevention of several health problems including type 2 diabetes, obesity, kidney disease, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, several forms of cancer, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, dementia and Alzheimer's disease to name a few.
Exercise Prescription for people suffering from a chronic health issue or musculo-skeletal disorder can be given by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
At Integrated Exercise Rehabilitation, all of our programs are run by AEP's.
What is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)?
Accredited Exercise Physiologists specialise in clinical exercise interventions for persons at high-risk of, or with, existing chronic and complex medical conditions and injuries. AEP's assess, prescribe, supervise and monitor exercise and lifestyle programs to meet an individual's specific goals.
AEP's can work in collaboration with or by referral from your general practitioner or other allied health professional to develop an exercise program that is safe and effective in acheiving required health outcomes.
AEP's are university qualified, allied health professionals who have met the stringent accreditation criteria set by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
AEP's are recognised by Medicare Australia, Department of Veteran's Affairs, WorkCover and Health Funds.
